RobotDog, a robot dog with artificial intelligence that helps visually impaired people by making their daily life easier, was created by a group of students of the 24th General High School, Athens.
The robotic quadruped not only guides visually impaired people to move around correctly, but also detects obstacles and gives clear instructions to these people in order to be safe.

Enthusiastic and optimistic for distinction about their invention, the students of the 12th Grade Dimitris Voulgaris, Apostolos Golias, Giorgos Gogos, Angelos Zachariadis and Alexandros Koukos visited their mentor and Mayor of Athens, Harris Doukas, to present him with RobotDog.
Very enthusiastically, the Mayor himself also posted photos from the meeting with the students on his personal Instagram account, wanting to express his support for the "Virtual Business - Company Program 2024" competition of JA Greece, which is under the auspices of Her Excellency, the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou. The competition is implemented throughout Greece with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports.
